Piero Fornasetti enameled metal and mahogany box 1950

Beautiful Piero Fornasetti decorative box made in Italy in the 1950s. This box is made of enameled metal with a slide out wooden drawer from mahogany wood. This box, originally a cigar box, was designed by Piero Fornasetti in the 1950s and is listed in the book Fornasetti The Complete Universe. It has been fully restored, and is found in a very good vintage condition. A collectible piece, perfect as a gift, with a very nice decorative presence. Signed Fornasetti - Milano on the back, with the original red velvet upholstery.
