The Vestige
by Monde Singulier
Why we built this
We fell in love with objects you can't find in stores anymore. Lamps that are no longer made, armchairs that lived in apartments we wish we'd known, tables that carry the marks of time the way others carry signatures.
We thought: there needs to be a place for pieces like these. Not another online flea market. A real space, thoughtfully built, where every object is hand-picked because it has something to say.
That's how The Vestige came to be.
What we do
The Vestige is an ultra-curated marketplace for unique vintage pieces. Furniture, lighting, design objects — we only select what stops us in our tracks. What sparks something. What we'd want to keep for ourselves.
No bulk, no algorithm deciding for you. Every piece is sourced, verified, documented. We know its story, its designer, its era. And if we don't, we dig until we find out — or we don't list it.
How we choose
We don't take everything. We take few, and we take well.
Our team spends real time with each piece. We look at the condition, the patina, the design. We ask ourselves: does it still hold up? Does it have that thing that makes you notice it in a room? Would we put it in our own home?
If the answer is yes three times, it's on The Vestige.
Monde Singulier, our home
The Vestige is built by Monde Singulier, a platform born in Paris around exceptional contemporary design. We already work with over 150 designers across some twenty countries. We know this world — its creators, its codes, and its gaps.
Vintage was one of them. There was demand, there was passion, but there was no space that matched the standard. The Vestige fills that gap: the same eye, the same rigor as Monde Singulier, now turned toward pieces that already have a life behind them.
Who it's for
For people who'd rather have a piece with a story than furniture that rolled off a factory line yesterday. For interior designers hunting for the one thing you can't find anywhere else. For the curious, the collectors, the obsessed — and for anyone who knows that a beautiful object can change a room.
Welcome to The Vestige.
