Lisa Johansson-Pape Ihanne floor lamp brass leather 1950

This beautiful floor lamp was designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape for Orno Oy in Finland in 1947. This particular example is a first edition dating from the early 1950s. It features a solid brass base, a stem wrapped with light brown leather, and a warm mocha brown painted shade. The shade presents a brilliant design that allows the light to shine both up and down at the same time. This floor lamp is a beautiful example of Lisa Johansson-Pape timeless design. It has been fully cleaned and restored, brass repolished, rewired, and is in a beautiful vintage condition, with the brown painted metal shade and the leather strap both presenting a beautiful patina.
