Wim Rietveld

Wim Rietveld (1924-1985) was a Dutch industrial designer and the son of Gerrit Rietveld. He worked for Gispen, designing the Mondial chair, and for Ahrend de Cirkel, where he designed the Pyramid chair in 1960. His furniture combines industrial production with clean, functional forms. Collectors appreciate his chairs and tables for their structural clarity and their place in Dutch modernism.
