Giò Pomodoro

Giò Pomodoro (1930-2002) was an Italian sculptor, brother of Arnaldo Pomodoro. Working in bronze, marble and stone, he explored tension, surface and geometric form, from the stretched surfaces of the 1960s to his solar and monumental works. He also designed jewellery and objects. His sculptures are held in major museums, and collectors seek signed bronzes and marbles, as well as smaller works that condense his sculptural language.
