This is a 'MM07' sofa, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe in 1958 as part of his Japanese series. Braakman grew up in the Pastoe factory as the son of the owner and later became head designer. Under his leadership, Pastoe developed its signature timeless and functional design aesthetic. The sofa has been reupholstered in Camira's sustainable Main Line Flax fabric. The frame remains in good condition, showing only slight traces of use. The manufacturer's mark can be found underneath the sofa.
