Vittoria Mazzotti

Vittoria Mazzotti was an Italian ceramist working in Albisola, the Ligurian town with a long ceramic tradition closely tied to the Mazzotti family. In the 1950s and 1960s she produced vases, boxes and ashtrays with glossy and lustre glazes, often iridescent, in bold forms. Her work belongs to the lively ceramic scene of postwar Albisola. Collectors seek signed pieces with intact, luminous glazes.
