Vico Magistretti

Vico Magistretti (1920-2006) was an Italian architect and designer from Milan. He designed some of the most enduring pieces of Italian design: the Carimate chair for Cassina, the Eclisse lamp for Artemide, the Atollo lamp for Oluce and the Maralunga sofa. His work combines simplicity, wit and technical precision. Collectors seek early editions of his lamps and furniture from the 1960s and 1970s.
