Toni Zuccheri
Italian designer Toni Zuccheri (1937-2008) trained as an architect in Venice before joining Venini in Murano in the 1960s. He became known for his glass birds, sculptures combining blown glass with bronze and other materials, as well as vases and lamps. Collectors seek signed Venini pieces from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly the animal sculptures, prized for their technique and poetic realism.
