Tommaso Barbi

Tommaso Barbi was an Italian designer and maker known for lighting and decorative objects of the 1970s. His lamps, in polished brass, often combined with ceramic, glass or rattan, have a warm, sculptural quality and sometimes playful naturalistic forms. His production reflects the Italian taste for luxurious brass objects in that decade. Collectors look for signed pieces with well preserved brass and original shades.
