Sabino
Marius Ernest Sabino (1878-1961) was an Italian born French glass artist and designer who founded his firm in Paris. He first made his name with Art Deco lighting, then developed opalescent pressed glass, producing figurines, vases, panels and lighting with a characteristic milky, iridescent quality. His work competed with that of René Lalique. Collectors seek signed pieces with strong opalescence and crisp moulding.
