Roger Rougier

Roger Rougier was a designer associated with Maison Rougier, the family lighting firm, whose production flourished in the 1970s. His floor and table lamps combine brass and lacquer or moulded Plexiglas in sculptural forms, including tiered shells and tulip shapes. The lamps reflect the Space Age and Hollywood Regency tastes of the period. Collectors seek them for their luminous materials and bold, decorative silhouettes.
