Roger Desserprit

Roger Desserprit (1923-1985) was a French sculptor and designer who is best known for his sculptural lamps of the 1950s to 1970s. Working in plaster, metal and resin, he gave lighting abstract, organic or totemic forms that sit between object and sculpture. His work belongs to the French postwar tradition of artist made lighting. Collectors seek signed or well attributed pieces with original surfaces.
