Pierre Disderot

French lighting designer Pierre Disderot founded his company in Paris in the 1950s, producing lamps designed by himself and by other French designers, including Pierre Guariche. The Disderot lamps use lacquered metal, brass and adjustable arms in precise, functional forms. The Disderot name remains active in French lighting today. Collectors seek original lamps of the 1950s and 1960s with original finishes, especially floor and wall lamps.
