Philippe Cheverny

Philippe Cheverny was a French designer of lighting active in the 1970s, whose lamps appear regularly at Paris dealers and auctions. His table and floor lamps, often in metal with sculptural, sometimes architectural bases, reflect the French taste for bold, decorative lighting in that decade. He is still little documented. Collectors look for signed or well attributed pieces in good original condition, often sold in pairs.
