Perry King & Santiago Miranda

Perry King, born in Britain in 1938, and Santiago Miranda, born in Seville in 1947, founded their design studio in Milan in 1976. They worked for Olivetti on office equipment and interfaces, and designed lighting for Arteluce and Flos, such as the Jill lamp, as well as furniture. Their work combines technical rigour with colour and a light, playful formal language. Collectors seek their lamps of the late 1970s and 1980s.
