Paul Follot
Paul Follot (1877-1941) was a French decorator and designer who began in the Art Nouveau period at La Maison Moderne before becoming a leading figure of Art Deco. In 1923 he took charge of Pomone, the design studio of the Bon Marché department store. His furniture, in rich veneers, marquetry, lacquer and gilded carving, has a luxurious, ornamented elegance. Collectors seek signed pieces of the 1910s and 1920s.
