Parvine Curie

French sculptor born in Nancy in 1936, Parvine Curie has developed an abstract body of work since the 1960s, based on architectural forms, arches and enclosing volumes. Her series of Mothers and her monumental pieces in bronze, wood, stone and concrete express shelter and elevation. Her work is held in public collections and appears in public spaces in France. Collectors value her bronzes and smaller maquettes.
