Olivier Gagnère

Olivier Gagnère, born in Paris in 1952, is a French designer who emerged in the 1980s alongside the Memphis group. He has worked with glassmakers in Murano, porcelain manufacturers such as Bernardaud, and furniture workshops, and he designed the interiors of the Café Marly at the Louvre. His objects and furniture use colour, glass and bronze with a poetic, handcrafted sensibility. Collectors seek his limited editions and gallery pieces.
