Michel Mangematin

Michel Mangematin (1928-2012) was a French architect and designer known for furniture and lighting in bronze produced in the 1960s and 1970s. His coffee tables, often with gilt bronze bases supporting glass tops, and his sculptural bronze lamps use organic, branching forms inspired by nature. They sit between design and sculpture. Collectors look for signed pieces with well preserved patina and original glass.
