Michel Lefèvre

French marquetry artist who designs contemporary furniture, screens, wall panels and pictures in inlaid wood. His work renews the traditional art of marquetry with abstract, geometric and graphic compositions, playing on the grain and colour of different species. His screens and cabinets are appreciated as a bridge between French cabinetmaking tradition and contemporary design, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship.
