Michel Armand

French designer Michel Armand worked in the 1970s, creating sculptural lamps in cast bronze. His table lamps take the form of stylised flowers, flames and organic volumes, in natural, gilt or nickel-plated bronze, where the metal itself becomes the diffuser or frames the light source. Collectors look for signed pieces with crisp casting and preserved patinas, which show his work as a meeting point of sculpture and lighting.
