Max Sauze

Max Sauze, born in 1933, is a French designer and sculptor known for his aluminium lighting and objects of the 1970s. His lamps, pendants and mirrors, made from cut, folded and assembled aluminium elements, create sculptural forms that reflect and diffuse light. They are characteristic of the Space Age aesthetic. Collectors seek his lamps for their inventive use of metal and their strong visual presence.
