Mauro Marzollo

Italian lighting designer whose career began in the 1960s with lamps in Murano glass, including mushroom-shaped table lamps for manufacturers such as Itre. He later moved towards Postmodern designs combining brass and glass, and has continued to work for Italian lighting companies. His lamps are valued for their sculptural glass forms, milky or clear, and for the soft quality of the light they produce.
