Maurice Jallot
Maurice Jallot (1900-1971), son of the decorator Léon Jallot, was a French furniture designer and cabinetmaker active from the 1920s. He designed cabinets, tables and seating in fine woods, often combined with lacquer, parchment or metal, in refined Art Deco and later modernist forms. He regularly exhibited at the Paris salons. Collectors appreciate his furniture for its precise craftsmanship and quiet elegance.
