Mattia Bonetti

Swiss designer born in Lugano in 1952 and based in Paris. After working with Elizabeth Garouste from 1980-2002, he developed an independent body of work shown notably at David Gill in London. His furniture and lighting mix bronze, lacquer, resin, glass and marquetry with bold colour and inventive, often playful forms. Collectors seek limited editions and unique pieces, valued for their virtuoso craftsmanship.
