Marie-Claude de Fouquières
Marie-Claude de Fouquières was a French designer known for her lighting of the 1970s. Her table lamps, made of cast resin with a fractal, crackled or crystal like interior and often topped with Plexiglas shades, catch and diffuse light in a striking way. These lamps reflect the French taste for new materials in that decade. Collectors look for pieces with clear resin, no significant cracks and original shades.
