Marcel Asselbur
Marcel Asselbur (1910-1964) was a French designer of lighting, active in the 1940s and 1950s. His chandeliers, sconces and floor lamps, in gilt metal, brass and glass, combine the elegance of French postwar decoration with light, sometimes playful structures. He also produced lighting for public buildings, including the Palais des Consuls in Rouen. Collectors look for documented pieces with original gilding and glass.
