Maija Liisa Komulainen

Maija Liisa Komulainen was a Finnish designer known for lamps produced by the Dutch firm Raak Amsterdam in the 1960s and 1970s. Her Fuga and Cantharelle series use layered, curved metal lamellas, often in copper, brass or lacquered aluminium, arranged in sculptural, floral compositions. They are among the most distinctive Raak designs. Collectors look for complete wall and table lamps with undamaged lamellas and original finishes.
