Mado Jolain

French ceramicist active mainly in the 1950s and 1960s, known for works inspired by nature. Her production ranges from tableware and vases to ceramic tables, wall panels and garden pieces, with leaf, plant and animal motifs in subtle glazes. She exhibited widely in France during the postwar years. Collectors appreciate her poetic, naturalistic vocabulary and the way her pieces move between house and garden.
