Luigi Caccia Dominioni

Luigi Caccia Dominioni (1913-2016) was an Italian architect from Milan, whose buildings shaped the city's postwar residential landscape. In 1947 he cofounded Azucena with Ignazio Gardella and Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua, a firm producing his furniture and lighting, such as the Catilina chair and the Monachella lamp. His designs combine bourgeois refinement with precise detailing in brass, wood and glass. Collectors seek early Azucena production.
