La Maison Desny
Desny was a Paris design house active from 1927-1933, founded by Desnet and René Nauny. It produced lighting, tableware and decorative objects in nickel-plated or silvered metal and thick glass, with angular, stepped forms that belong to the most modernist wing of Art Deco. Desny lamps and objects were short-lived and produced in limited numbers, and collectors prize signed pieces for their radical geometry.
