Jordi Vilanova

Jordi Vilanova i Bosch, born in 1925, is a Catalan interior decorator and furniture designer who worked in Barcelona. From the 1960s he created seating, tables and cabinets that combine modern lines with local craft traditions, including the rocking armchairs he designed in 1966. His use of wood, cane and leather gives his furniture a warm, Mediterranean character. Collectors look for his well-preserved Barcelona pieces with original materials.
