Jacques & Dani Ruelland

Jacques Ruelland (1926-2008) and his wife Dani (Danielle) Ruelland (1932-2010) were French ceramicists who worked together from the early 1950s in their workshop near Paris. Their vases, bottles, bowls and lamps are thrown in pure, rounded forms and covered with vivid, even glazes in yellow, orange, turquoise and deep blue. Collectors look for signed pieces with flawless glaze, particularly the larger vases and rare colours.
