J.J.M. Hoogervorst

J.J.M. Hoogervorst was a Dutch designer known for lighting created for Anvia in Almelo during the 1950s. His desk and wall lamps, in lacquered metal and brass, use articulated arms and counterweights to balance and adjust the light with notable precision. Their slender, graphic lines have made them classics of Dutch post-war lighting. Collectors look for examples with original lacquer and the Anvia manufacturer's details.
