J.C. Mahey
French designer Jean-Claude Mahey worked in the 1970s, in the circle of the Paris house Maison Roméo, producing furniture that plays on brass, chrome, Lucite and stone. His coffee tables, consoles and lamps often combine polished metal frames with travertine, glass or acrylic, in a precise and luxurious style typical of French 1970s decoration. Collectors look for signed or well-documented pieces with crisp metalwork and original finishes.
