Ingvar Stockum

Swedish designer Ingvar Stockum worked in the 1960s, notably for the Swedish manufacturer Futura Möbler. His best-known design is the Monte Carlo sofa, with its matching armchairs, which pairs a solid rosewood frame with deep leather upholstery in a low, generous profile. Collectors look for original examples in rosewood and black or cognac leather, where the fine carving of the frame and the quality of the leather are well preserved.
