Ico Parisi

Italian architect and designer (1916-1996) who worked in Como with his wife Luisa Parisi, founding the La Ruota studio in 1948. Their furniture for Cassina, MIM Roma and others combines organic, often biomorphic forms with fine woods, brass and glass. Parisi was also a painter and theorist of utopian architecture. Collectors seek his armchairs, sideboards and cocktail tables with documented manufacturers and period upholstery.
