Ib Kofod-Larsen
Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) was a Danish furniture designer trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His designs, produced by Danish manufacturers such as Christensen & Larsen and for export markets, include the Elizabeth chair (1956) and the Penguin chair. Working in teak, rosewood and oak, he combined comfort with sculptural profiles. Collectors seek early examples with original upholstery and labels.
