Herman Busquet

Herman Busquet was a Dutch designer known for lamps produced by Hala Zeist in the 1950s. His Sun series of counterbalanced wall, desk and floor lamps use lacquered metal shades and adjustable arms with simple weights, creating precise, industrial silhouettes. They are among the most recognisable Dutch lamps of the period. Collectors look for examples with original lacquer, labels and working counterweights.
