Gio Colucci

Born in Florence in 1892 and settled in France, Gio Colucci (died 1974) was a painter, sculptor, ceramicist and decorator whose work ranged across the arts. From the interwar years through the 1950s he produced ceramics, sculpture and furniture marked by stylised figures and a strong sense of line. His pieces, often signed, are appreciated today for their painterly quality and for bridging the fine and decorative arts.
