Emiel Veranneman

Emiel Veranneman (1924-2004) was a Belgian designer, gallerist and collector. In his Brussels gallery he showed modern art alongside his own furniture, and later created a foundation in Kruishoutem. His furniture, from the 1950s onward, combines fine woods, metal and marble in strict, architectural forms, including tables, desks and cabinets. Collectors look for pieces produced by his own workshop and for his more sculptural designs.
