Duval Brasseur

Jacques Duval-Brasseur, a French designer born in 1934, produced furniture and lighting under his own name in Paris from the 1970s. His work draws on natural motifs, including fish, shells, palm trees and pineapples, rendered in brass, gilt metal and bronze, sometimes combined with glass or stone. Close to the decorative spirit of Maison Jansen and Maison Charles, his lamps and tables are sought for their sculptural quality and luxurious finishes.
