Boris Jean Lacroix
French designer (1902-1984) and a founding member of the Union des Artistes Modernes in 1929, Boris Jean Lacroix was one of the most inventive lighting designers of the interwar years. His lamps, sconces and ceiling lights use nickel-plated metal, frosted glass and stepped geometric volumes, often with adjustable or architectural elements. He also designed furniture and accessories, and signed period pieces are highly sought after by collectors of French modernism.
