Alain Delon

The French actor (1935-2024) was also a committed collector, and in the 1970s he lent his name to a line of furniture and lighting produced with Maison Jansen. Wall lamps from the same period were made in Italy by Sabot. The pieces favour chrome, brass, smoked glass and lacquer in crisp geometric forms, and collectors prize examples bearing the AD model references, a rare crossover between cinema and French decorative arts.
