Stilux Milano

Stilux Milano was an Italian lighting manufacturer active in the 1950s and 1960s. It produced chandeliers, sconces, floor lamps and table lamps combining brass with lacquered metal, glass and Perspex, in the light, inventive idiom of postwar Italian lighting. Collectors look for pieces with original lacquer and diffusers, particularly multi-arm chandeliers and floor lamps, which show the lively character of Milanese production of the period.

This beautiful desk lamp was designed by Oscar Torlasco and produced in Italy by Stilux Milano in the 1950s. It is made of solid brass, with a slick green lacquered metal base and shade. Both the shade and the stem adjust for angling of light. This lamp is an iconic creation of the designer but also a classic timeless twentieth-century design, mixing elegance and modernity. It would make a perfect addition to both a contemporary or mid-century desk. This lamp has been fully cleaned and restored, fully rewired with three E14 medium based sockets, and in great vintage condition.

Dimensions :

Width : 52 cm
Depth : 28 cm
Height : 40 cm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1037/6236/2709/files/Oscar_Torlasco_for_Stilux_Milano_table_lamp_green_metal_brass_1950_1.jpg?v=1774457040
rare-tripod-table-lamp-stilux-milano
Stilux Milano, Tripod Table Lamp

Unknown for Stilux Milano

Country: Italy

Period: 1950s

Condition: Very good

Dimensions: H: 16cm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1037/6236/2709/files/Tripod-table-lamp-Stilax-Milano-dat-is-de-naam-01B-scaled_2199dbbb-634a-4885-a328-d681f146ae64.jpg?v=1774687578
